Art 4 Art
Please, if you haven't done so already, check out my best friend, Sarah's, new blog Art 4 Art. She's inviting anyone to choose a piece of Canadian music and create another piece of art, be it words, images, or even more music, that is inspired by the song. Basically, she's creating a community of artists inspiring other artists. There has already been a ton of amazing contributors, including my friend's Suzanne, Tara and Dominique. You can find my contributions here and here. Feel free to contact Sarah if you want to take part in her amazing project!

Iceland photographed by Sean Pecknold
Iceland is a place I dream of one day traveling to and photographer Sean Pecknold (and brother of Fleet Foxes front man, Robin Pecknold) has done a beautiful job capturing the countries landscape. The earthy tones and simplistic beauty of Sean's photographs only make me want to visit it that much more. Be sure to check out the rest of his series here, as well as some of the amazing music videos he's directed.

Erie Basin
Erie Basin is an antique store based out of Brooklyn, NY that carries the most beautiful jewelry, artwork, and interior objects. Their blog is full of eye candy and incredible treasures, especially their collection of art deco rings. I'd like one of each please.
