If you are not familiar with the fashion line Rodarte, they are two sisters named Kate and Laura Mulleavy based out of California. Though their pieces have been gracing the runway for years, one their more recent projects includes the incredible costumes for Darren Aronofsky’s film, Black Swan. Their newest feat is a collaboration with film maker/photographer Todd Cole. Staring Hollywood's up-and-coming starlet, Elle Fanning and music by Deerhunter, The Curve of Forgotten Things, highlights Rodarte's Spring 2011 collection. The video above is a short preview, and you can watch the entire thing over at NOWNESS.

Hamburg-born photographer, Astrid Kirchherr, met The Beatles in 1960, years before they exploded on to the music scene. Her now iconic photographs of the band, depict the group before the addition of Ringo Starr and with bassist Stuart Sutcliffe, who Kirchherr was engaged to until his death in 1962. The third photograph depicts bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison, only days after the death of their dear friend. Kirchherr's photographs perfectly capture the innocence and ambition of a then unknown band, and have been used time and time again to retell the story of one of the world's most influential musical groups.
